    telemarketers

    ooo what a treaty treat treat treat!! i haven't done this in ages!!
    it takes quite a bit of quick thinking to be 'smart' with a telemarketer and as most people know, i don't think real quick...

    after 6!!! other telemarketer calls from THE SAME company (5 different people) and me just saying "no" til they hung up this one young fulla was on the line

    tm: is mrs ryan there please
    me: no
    tm: SHIT!
    me: excuse me!!
    tm: any idea when she'll be back
    me: You just swore!! I AM RELIGIOUS!!! IT IS AGAINST MY RELIGION TO SWEAR
    tm: I...
    me: NO, THIS IS ALARMING I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU JUST SWORE - YOU OFFENDED MY RELIGION - IT IS AGAINST MY RELIGION TO SWEAR
    tm: it...
    me: i hope god forgives you for your indiscretion i will pray for your soul - goodbye
